04Regulatory status
Where R-507A stands
HFC blend
With a GWP above 2,200, California's SB 1206 has banned the sale of newly produced bulk R-507A statewide since January 1, 2025; reclaimed product is exempt. Federal AIM Act allowances continue to shrink virgin supply. Servicing existing systems remains legal, which keeps recovered R-507A in demand.
