Virgin vs. reclaimed — the distinction that matters
Reclaimed refrigerant has been reprocessed and tested to AHRI Standard 700. Transfers of recovered material for reclamation differ from resale for use in another owner's equipment.

Newly produced gas
Factory-new refrigerant in original packaging. We stock virgin Chemours (Freon) brand refrigerants. Supply is shrinking by law: HFC production is allowance-capped under the AIM Act and halves again on January 1, 2029, while ozone-depleting gases like R-22 have not been produced since 2020.

Restored to AHRI-700
Used refrigerant reprocessed by an EPA-certified reclaimer and verified against the AHRI-700 purity panel. Confirm equipment compatibility and application requirements when ordering. It needs no production allowances, and it is exempt from California's SB 1206 sales bans on newly produced high-GWP refrigerant.
